I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M.  I have worked mostly in the oilfield , but I had a 2 year stint as the owner of a hot rod shop.  I have 19 patents related to the oilfield, and I really enjoy the invention and ideation process.  I love mechanical design, I am interested in electronics, and I enjoy programming.  I have always enjoyed tinkering, and I think this might be an interesting way to log my projects.  I mainly mess around with cars, but lately I’ve had some extra time so there is a whole gambit of things that I have been messing with… from food to chickens.  I am sure that the scope of this will change, but I thought it would be fun to at least document some of the things I am playing around with.

I am also married to a beautiful, brilliant, inspiring woman named Eva. If we are lucky, we might get a guest post from her on occasion!
